Take Care of Your Hair

They say hair is every woman's crowning glory...and to have a great hair everyday would definitely be a dream come true. That's why most women spend their time, money and effort in finding the products that will give them beautiful and healthy hair. If you are one of them then you have probably experienced using numerous hair products through the years. That's because finding the perfect partner for your hair is not an easy task.

However, you may want to consider the following tips to keeping a healthy, beautiful hair while searching for that perfect hair mate.

1. Eat healthy. Fresh fruits, veggies and whole grains are definitely good for your hair. Reduce intake of fatty or fried foods, salt and sugar.

2. Drink plenty of water. Keep your hair hydrated by drinking at least 8 glasses of water everyday.

3. Take Vitamins. Vitamin A gives you a healthy scalp while Vitamin B and C are important for good circulation, hair growth and hair color.

4. Brush or comb your hair properly. Do not brush wet hair and avoid combing forcefully to avoid breakage.

5. Take good care of your scalp. Do not apply hair styling products directly on your scalp to avoid dandruff.

6. Avoid excessive heat. Use hair dryer, electronic curlers and hair iron in moderation to prevent split ends and dry hair.

7. Avoid or totally quit smoking. Unknown to many, smoking restricts blood flow and circulation to the hair follicle, impacting its ability to grow new hair.

8. Visit your hairdresser regularly. Have your stylist trim your hair monthly for maintenance.

9. Use the right styling products such as gel, mousse and hair spray to avoid damage.

10. Choose the right shampoo and conditioners for you.
