One Lazy Yesterday and a Tail of Provincial Living

None of me and my little sister is in the mood to cook for lunch yesterday so off to the chicken restaurant we go. With us was my 3-year old niece, Elijah. After dining we decided to look for clothes to wear on my nephew’s dedication this coming Saturday.

We scouted few rocks of clothes from two different local stores but failed to find what I want. I must admit I am a bit picky when it comes to clothes. I usually don’t buy for nothing but comfort. I am not the type who splurges either; in fact, I am dubbed as the wisest shopper in our family. I don’t care how long it will take me to shop a single pair of clothes as long as I get the best deal possible. Best to me means quality and comfort.

Additionally, living a provincial life, we really don’t have many store choices to go to. I know it’s quite hard to imagine living the way I do - - no huge malls, no cinemas, no big restaurants, not even a single signature fast food chain, and a very limited means of socializing – that is where I live… an hour or so away from the nearest city. But still my family and I live. And often we just hit the road to the nearest city when we need to shop especially for clothes or when we simply want a change of environment at times.

Anyway, back to yesterday… I didn’t really left the last store we went in to empty handed and that is because I had these accessories to take home to.
I thought I would just wear one of my old clothes and use one of these for embellishment, come Saturday.

  2. Wise shopper? You remind me of a dear friend who goes to ukay shops with so much enthusiam. And she never goes out empty-handed too. She always gets something to buy for a great deal of price.

  9. I can relate to this post since I came from a small town an hour away from the city. Life was so laid back that time. I don't know if I can still go back to that kind of life.

  12. We are the same when it comes to shopping philosophy, I also take a lot of time, consider both comfort and quality for best criteria to cinch a buy.

    Cool belts! :)
